The Popular Show Season Four Reveals the Soldiers Group

Ever since the premiere of the fourth campaign, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a colorful mix of characters, and a exciting storyline showcasing divine entities, evil spirits, and sinister influences expanding in influence within the urban setting.

Note: Key plot points for the third episode of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Soldiers Table Revealed

Episode 3 finished on a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of heroes who will separate from the main group to undertake their own adventure, separate from the other two tables.

The Soldiers table includes Teor (brought to life by Travis Willingham), the agile character (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

Given a large ensemble, it was evident from the outset that keeping everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

This explains, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, connecting the individual narratives before dividing into three distinct groups: Warriors, Planners, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

According to the DM, the warrior group is for players who enjoy a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven story mode where diplomatic options are rare.

At first glance, characters like the squeamish cleric the cleric might seem unsuited, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these five characters are best suited for the warrior group.

Why They Must Go

First, the team has a clear idea where to proceed after a brutal first encounter with the antagonists.

An old friend of the deceased character—whose demise initiated the campaign’s events—manipulated the enemy for his own means, breaking into the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and stealing all the enchanted items to auction.

The traitor then settled his liabilities and ran away to a secure base in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Cyd Pridesire close behind.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each member has a specific drive to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The agile hero, as the close ally and best friend, seeks vengeance.
  • The knowledgeable figure has experience in the region and cautions that it is a dangerous environment.
  • The warrior and The cleric, having defied his relatives’ demands to execute Teor and instead freed him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their reputation as key figures in House Halovar could help the party enter places they normally couldn’t.
  • Additionally, The grateful character pledged a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

Finally, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the city for a range of causes, making staying in the city no longer safe:

  • Thimble and The hero are known criminals.
  • The warrior and Wicander turned against the influential house and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • Teor is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This means them few options but to journey toward the remote area in search of the traitor.

Upcoming Developments

According to episode three’s Cooldown, we learn that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the remaining eight players to form the Questers and Schemers tables.

Audiences can anticipate finding out which characters will be where in Campaign 4’s final introductory chapter, released on next week.
